Ebola-positive healthcare worker to be admitted to NIH

An American healthcare volunteer working in Sierra Leone has tested positive for Ebola and is being transported to the United States where the individual will be admitted and treated at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center Special Clinical Studies Unit, a high-level containment facility in Bethesda, MD, outside of Washington, DC.

No additional details about the patient are being shared at this time.
