Dr. Popovic is director of the Cardiovascular Research Center at the Dedinje Cardiovascular Institute, Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He has published the largest echocardiographic series analyzing the determinants of left ventricular enlargement following myocardial infarction.

James D. Thomas, MD
Dr. Thomas is director of cardiovascular imaging and a professor of medicine and biomedical engineering at the Cleveland Clinic. He focuses his clinical work in valvular heart disease and leads a large research group investigating applications of echocardiography in cardiac disease.
