Must-Have Dermatology App for Skin Cancer Detection: Report From the Mount Sinai Fall Symposium

Dr. Daniel Siegel discusses the value of the SkinVision app for skin cancer detection. This app is available in Europe and Australia and is presently undergoing review by the US Food and Drug Administration as a medical device. He explains how the app uses a complex algorithm to determine if a lesion is suspicious, urgent, or not suspicious to help triage patients.
