Erratum

Due to an editing error, “Preconception counseling: Make it part of the annual exam” (J Fam Pract. 2009;58:307-314) cited an incorrect dosage of folate for women who have previously given birth to a child with a neural tube defect and those who take anti-epileptic drugs. The recommended daily dosage for this patient population is 4 mg of folate, not 4 mcg.
