AACE: Does Diabetes Raise the Risk of Cancer?


 

During a discussion at the annual meeting of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists in Philadelphia, Dr. Paul Jellinger and Dr. Philip Levy talked about the possible association between cancer and insulin injections in patients with diabetes. They also discussed whether physicians should screen their diabetic patients for various types of cancer.
