Near-infrared imaging in robotically-assisted urogynecologic surgery

Author and Disclosure Information

Brought to you by the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. In this video, the authors demonstrate the use of near-infrared imaging during complex robotic gynecologic surgery. Surgical techniques include ureteral visualization with indocyanine green (ICG), placement of sutures during a Burch urethropexy based on near-infrared visual clues, and use of a fluorescent vaginal manipulator for difficult bladder dissections and identification of surgical planes.
