The overall risks and benefits of hormone therapy

The new data on hormone therapy (HT) suggest that we still have much to learn about its benefits and risks. We also are reaching an understanding that, for many young, symptomatic, menopausal patients, HT can represent a safe choice, with much depending on the timing and duration of therapy.
