TORONTO – Managing a diagnosis along the schizophrenia spectrum can be difficult not only for the patient, but also for the patient’s friends and loved ones. “It’s also hard on the clinician,” says Dr. Ira D. Glick, a professor emeritus of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford (Calif.) University and a presenter at the annual American Psychiatric Association meeting.
