What are some of the symptoms to look for in young people who might have psychotic illness? Dr. Annette Hanson, of Shrink Rap News, speaks with Dr. William Carpenter about what frontline clinicians should look for in troubled young people who might have psychosis.

When patients want to spend more and more alone, Dr. Carpenter says, this could be a warning sign that something might be wrong. A key challenge at this point is helping patients develop insight into the nature of their illness.
