The Journal of Clinical Outcomes Management® (JCOM®) is an independent, peer-reviewed journal offering evidence-based, practical information for improving the quality, safety, and value of health care.

JCOM’s content includes original research papers, clinical reviews, reports from the field, and special articles and features. One of JCOM’s key features is the case-based review, which presents a critical review of the literature and balanced discussion on how to apply the evidence to a specific patient case. JCOM also features of the work of health care teams who are developing and implementing innovations to optimize health system performance. Their reports from the field, which emphasize practical steps taken to support improvement and overcome barriers to change, facilitate the adoption and adaptation of interventions that can improve the quality of health care. JCOM is indexed in EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, Scopus, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), and the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro).
