OSA diagnoses not carried forward to the inpatient setting
Key clinical point: A substantial proportion of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) diagnoses may not be carried over to the inpatient setting.
Major finding: Out of 991 individuals with a prior outpatient OSA diagnosis, 376 (38%) did not have an inpatient OSA diagnosis on inpatient record.
