Migraine Comorbidities Rise With Increased Headache Days

Key clinical point: People with migraine headaches have more comorbidities as their average number of headache days per month rises.

Major finding: Compared with no migraine, the insomnia odds ratio was 200% higher for people with 1-4 headache days per month and 700% higher for those with 21 or more headache days per month.

Study details: MAST, a survey completed by 15,133 adults reporting recent migraine headaches and 77,453 adults without migraine.
